After the Bundy "verdict", Oregon Gov. Kate Brown needs our re-election help NOW.

Kate is a solid progressive who was in a close race even before the miscarriage of justice that let Ammon Bundy and his cowboy stormtroopers off the hook for their indefensible actions at the Malheur Refuge.

Kate's opponent is Bud Pierce, a right-wing nut job whose views are heavily in agreement with the "Sagebrush Rebellion" mentality, and will now be getting a wave of enthusiatically vindictive support from Bundyists throughout the West.

A Pierce victory will be seen as license for reactionaries in Oregon to go on the offensive against anyone in the state who isn't a straight, white male "Christian" shitkicker.

If you've got an extra 25$ laying around, she could sure as hell use it.

By all means, support her. A slight clarification, though, Bundy Verdict or no she's probably going to win. The facts on the ground in OR have not changed, and this state is not sending an anti-choice Republican to the governor's office.
