Huma Abelin announced her separation from Wiener on Aug 29

It is unlikely that any alleged emails are on his computer after that date.

If there are, how did they get there?

Would Wiener let his wife have access to his porn machine?

Do they have separate user names if he did?

Does the FBI need her password for her user name?

was Sec State, and she used this machine, maybe even once, to print out emails for Clinton. It would only take one syncing to put all those emails on the machine. It could be a four plus year old machine - maybe even forgotten until used by Weiner for his porn addiction.

Just speculation, but the best case scenario for Abelin.

Automatically by the system by say only keeping only the last 3 weeks on the laptop, the email would still be there on the disk until rewritten by new data, thats why people wipe their disk clean by writing over it, just deleting doesn't insure something is mine.

mentioned using other machines to print out emails during either her testimony or her interviews with the FBI. It would be incumbent on the FBI to ask for those machines at the time. As far as Huma was concerned, she no longer had access to those emails on that machine and would have no reason to turn it over to the FBI. If the machine was owned by her husband, then she legally could not turn over the machine without his permission anyway (not sure how that would work when a couple is married).
