I just don't understand how they can be virtually the last network to still refer to this as a reopening of the investigation. Heck, even Fox is lambasting Comey.

Especially on a Sunday. Probably people over the age of 60 and they tend to be Trump supporters anyway.

I don't even watch my 10pm news until the weather. They, as does the nightly news, have 30 minutes to cover a lot of news. So they put out one to two lead sentences before an interview or news piece. They have little room for analysis and little time to get ratings. So they will do what grabs the attention. Hell, I even wonder if Scott Pelley or whoever else anchors the evening news does any of their own news research or if they're handed copy from the producer and read it.
