Nobody Shows Up For Trump Rally In Florida As Trumps Big Boasts Draw Smaller Crowds
By Jason Easley on Wed, Nov 2nd, 2016 at 4:31 pm
According to the fire marshall, an Orlando, FL venue that holds 10,000 was a quarter to a third full, just moments before Donald Trumps rally was set to begin.
Ashley Killough of CNN tweeted a picture of the scene moments before the rally was set to begin:
As you can see they packed the crowd in up front near the stage to make the venue look more full:
See all that green space? That is what a dying presidential campaign that is losing looks like. It is a political fact of life that dying presidential campaigns see their crowds drop off in the final days of the campaign. It happened to John McCain in 2008. It happened to Mitt Romney in 2012, and it is happening to Donald Trump in 2016.

(2,125 posts)Remnd people that when Bernie had tremendous crowds, people commented that crowds do not equal votes.
Having said that, I"m thrilled to see the pictures and will revel in his loss next week, as well as her victory!

(92,195 posts)the campaign is following the same ground game.
Call centers all over the country are calling into swing states to Get The Vote Out. At the call centers we are encouraging people to vote early where they can, and answering any questions they have.
Keep in mind the call centers are calling Democrats. We are not calling republicans. The point is to GOTV, and hopefully, motivate people to vote early were they can.
At least for this part of the campaign, we have the advantage over the republicans
