they've always been greedy, self-absorbed assholes, but i always thought there was a limit. i thought our country was the limit. putin praises their nominee, so he's a great guy! i wish i could say i was surprised, but i'm not.

and people need to wrap their heads around it pds, because we are at a completely different place as a country than we were until this point.

The BEST case scenario if Hillary wins is that they do what they have done the last 8 years ONLY WORSE. They will not do their jobs, they will not work with the POTUS to get anything done, which is what they did the last 8 years. BUT, they will do what they did in the 90s with Bill only worse with investigations and trying to take Hillary down. IF they keep the senate, we will not see ANY SC replacements for at last the next two years - not fill Scalias seat or any other openings.

HOWEVER, if we get the senate and Shumer and the rest of the Ds have the brass to do what they SHOULD do, and drop the filibuster on the first day to allow them to have up and down votes ...

Things ARE going to happen that we never thought we would see in this country.

party of hate - spot on.

Destroyed by it ... NO.

In fact, they are only going to get worse and this country is going to enable it as it has enabled them taking that huge steps in this regard over the last 8 years.

They are mad, they will do some really bad shit and IT WON'T BE THEIR FAULT!

I was of the mind that a "trump" wing would fracture off, but end of the day they have the same shared enemy - the evil liberal.

So, whatever possible differences within the ranks will be drown out almost immediately when their primary target will be Hillary.

AND, if we get the senate and IF Schumer and company have the sand to actually do the right thing and eliminate the filibuster on day one ... WTF out.

The pro-American party?

No, they are the racist, authoritarian party.

They don't even love their own country.

They love strong leaders.

Who are not black.

have a great deal of respect, even reverence, for Comrade Putin! A former president, can't quite remember who, said he looked into Putin's eyes and could see "the depth of his soul."

As far as I know he hasn't had too many people torn apart by dogs or blown up by missiles. Nor does he keep an entire nation in a pre-industrial gulag, or even show a sign of wanting to.

But he ios more of a threat to our society and way of life than Kim, or even Putin, so at a personal level he is going to engender more concern. The same is true for Republicans. They are not likely responding to "who is objectively a worse person". Were the Dems who ranked Trump worse than Kim responding to that? No - both were, mostly at any rate, responding to who threatens their own perceived benefit the most.
