Judge rules PA GOP can't send poll watchers from different counties to look for voter fraud

https://electionlawblog.org/?p=88592

"Under Pennsylvania law, poll watchers must be from the same county in which they are registered to vote. Republicans failed to change that law in the legislature, and the PA Republican party filed a federal lawsuit seeking to make the change".

and they better not interfere with the voting process.

Lots of us are ready to call authorities at a moment's notice.

you really have little worry about.

This is about trying to get goons into philly precincts.

If you live in mid-sized cities like Allentown, Bethlehem, or Lancaster, for instance, you do have to worry about voter intimidation. Trump's armed goons from the rural parts within those counties can also descend on the cities to enact their nefarious schemes to try to intimidate voters--and they won't have far to travel!

I'm predicting issues in the Harrisburg area. Efforts were made via gerrymandering to dilute the voting power of central PA's non-white population.

http://www.redistricting.state.pa.us/maps/congressional.cfm

Note the change from 2002 to 2011. Notice how the district line suddenly and mysteriously now crossed the frakin Susquehanna River to lump Harrisburg in with Camp Hill on the west shore, what we locals affectionately refer to as "The White Shore".

The population of Harrisburg is over 50% African American. Camp Hill trends towards the overall demographics of the state- over 80% of the population is white.

Additionally, the new lines removed the Colonial Park area from Harrisburg. Colonial Park is also far more diverse than overall PA demographics- which might explain why it is now tied to rural white counties with which it shares nothing in common. Did I mention that there are school districts that overlap between Hburg and Colonial Park?

This Nasty Woman is going to have her eyes open and cell phone ready on election day. Let's get these tea-bagging, state-sponsored-rape loving (I'm lookin' at YOU, Sue Helm!), cant-pass-a-budget republicans out of here!

A dictator makes the laws, and orders enforcement of them.

Trump doesn't believe in the laws of the land - witness how he breaks everyone of them with impunity.

The whole thing is starting to make me feel nauseous.

I can't help it. I don't hold the candidates as responsible for this mess as I do hold the VOTERS who put these assholes in power, or shove them up closer to the possibility of power. It's the VOTERS who think these miscreants deserve power. I fault the VOTERS - the DEPLORABLES - who try to force-feed this down our throats. Frankly, I don't think they even know what they want. They're sure not gonna get what they think they want if they get their President Trump.

Sorry, Trumpanzees and neo-Nazi terrorists, you don't get to cheat for your guy to get your way!! But what you do get are matching bracelets; a room with a view, replete with iron bars; and a criminal record where you can't even vote for 4 years after you get convicted for interfering with an election.

Thank you, Your Honor, for standing up from democracy, the Constitution, voting rights, and the rule of law instead of the rule of tyrants.

There are more rules than you think to be a poll watcher. You can't just show up and wonder around the inside of a polling place.
