As a Hispanic/Latino in Texas, let me tell you, there are plenty of trumpites down here. In fact, many of them are proud republicans. I think the logic is that Mr. Jaundiced won't lump them in with the other "murderers" and "rapists". For lack of a better description, I can only sat that it's a strange kind of Hispanic Uncle Tom type mindset. They tend to hate their own people. They make dubious and outlandish claims of ancestry (I have an aunt who claims we're somehow Irish), and they somehow think that voting this way makes them an honorary member of the angry white man's club. I just don't get it.

from the same background (and to people from other minority groups as well).

I don't find that level of support for Trump nearly as shocking as others here do.

More like he's already done MAJOR damage that will hurt GOP for generations to come. On the bright side, maybe this is their wake-up call that they need to be a more tolerant party and embrace people of all color, creed and gender.
