Did some call banking into North Carolina this morning, and will do more this

afternoon. The call center was hopping, about 20 volunteers calling, and the responses were terrific. At 50% of my calls had already voted, or were going to vote early like tomorrow.

Of course we are encouraging everyone to vote early because of the potential lines on election day. Some of the callers were relating to me that the lines were pretty large when they voted early, but they said they moved along pretty smoothly.

A few of the people are very nervous because of the media's polling coverage. I reassured them that just getting out the vote would make the difference, and the volatility of the polls indicate that it is very difficult for pollsters to get a handle on what is happening. I also said that there is an effort to portray this as a horse race, and not get demoralized by all the data being thrown out. Just getting out the vote, and voting early, and we will win

My impression of the folks in North Carolina was very positive. They are very nice, and very enthused about Hillary and the election.

Oh, one more thing, for some voting for the First Woman President was a very big deal

gloomer naysayers, and presents a brief opportunity to get down into the trenches and see where Democrats are coming from.

The party is as united behind Hillary as I have ever seen.

In North Carolina, this enthusiasm also carries over to Debbie Ross for Senate, which is extremely gratifying, since burr is an ignoramus
