IIRC Eichenwald put a tweet up saying something about Trump being institutionalized in the early 90s and quickly put it down (back in August or September). Possibly related to that.

According to Daily News Bin:

Eichenwald’s original tweet said the following: “I believe Trump was institutionalized in a mental hospital for a nervous breakdown in 1990, which is why he won’t release his medical records.” Rather than elaborating or providing evidence of this claim, he deleted his tweet – but not before it was screen capped by Rolling Stone writer Corbin Reiff, who asked Eichenwalkd to elaborate.

Eichenwald responded in a manner which made it sound like he only deleted the tweet because it was causing so much confusion about his upcoming story on another topic, which he’s been hyping for the past week. “Folks: I don’t have story coming out tomorrow that Trump had a breakdown. Order of tweets confused ppl I believe. Topic is other major thing.”

He also subsequently tweeted that “No one in the press even knows whether Trump has experienced a nervous breakdown or been institutionalized. We need medical records.” So it’s not immediately clear whether he was actually making the claim that Donald Trump had been institutionalized in the tweet which he deleted, or if he was merely trying to make a point about Trump’s lack of transparency. But he lated tweeted that “People were thinking that was my cover story for tomorrow I’ve been discussing, so deleted it to avoid confusion.”

Obviously he doesn't have evidence for the hospitalization, only personally believes. Oh, well. Can't wait for whatever this release is. Might be 6th or so time is the charm.

It wasn't the media's fault that yesterday's presser got cancelled.

You should blame the deplorable creeps who sent threats out against Jane Doe, causing HER to back out. I was disappointed too and wish it hadn't happened at all. But I can't fault the woman for fearing for her safety/life, nor can I aim a finger at the media. Nor should you.

is why it took her so long to gather the strength to come forward as an adult. It's easy to see how she would go back to that mind set of fear after being threatened anew. I would hazard a guess that close tRump forces were at play here. They would have more information on the little girl than a tRump supporter would and thus drive home the point that they could easily make good on the original threat. As I said, this is a guess. My mind went there.

All that needs to happen is for something big enough to be dropped that the narrative in the MSM changes for the next 5 days. That's it.

Trump is such a despicable, nasty, scum of the earth and his base loves him for that. So, please stop wishing for a nuclear bomb to take him out (figuratively). Instead, let's all hope that something news-worthy enough hits that the BS emails/Clinton Foundation/FBI garbage goes away. We want Trump to be the last one in the news with a scandal. That alone is all we need.

HRC is winning. She will win. But one last good Trump dump might bring the sane back to her camp and to voting blue down ticket.

The stories about trumps business and ties to foreign government for some reason haven't gained traction. The ones that have dominated news cycles the most are sex related. It's about hurting him with his base. They dont really understand a lot of the stories bc they're complicated and require... Reading. It's about the headline. Unfortunately people are busy and they read headlines.
I think one of the things that has hurt Hillary the most is the headlines, not the stories themselves. They also always put a really terrible picture of her with the headline. That's what disgusts me the mists. The headlines are designed to be provocative.

I think the Newsweek article will be about his financial ties to Russia. Possibly the mob connection that Theiner is tweeting about earlier. Both Wilson and Theiner have retweeted Eichenwald's announcement.

Seems pretty real. And if there is digging started in one context about Russia the rest will reveal itself too.

Eichenwald is the one who noticed Wikileaks using his copy in their Podesta leaks. So he is not a lightweight.
