Joy Reid summed it up well. She essentially said they're telling Democrats fine, vote Hillary in if you want, but we'll never allow her to function as a real president because we're the ones who run this country.

(15,286 posts)The first clue should have come when DoJ abruptly removed all the NY FBI agents investigating the Eric Garner case and replaced them with other unbiased agents from outside NY.
In my office, this kind of behavior was referred to as "going native". In other words, outsiders being co-opted by the people they were sent to supervise or work with and taking the side of the group they were sent into rather than remaining objective and loyal to their boss' interests. Because of the ongoing terrorist threat in NYC, it doesn't really surprise me that FBI agents, especially ones who may have worked with Giuliani, have been co-opted into his orbit.
