My theory is that Trump borrowed money from Russians, but he couldn't pull his old trick of weaseling out of repayment by declaring bankruptcy, and so they gave Trump an offer he couldn't refuse, made him run for the Presidency, and now they're trying to use cyberattacks and similar tactics either to push him through into the Presidency, or else to destroy the credibility of American Democracy and create civil upheaval. It's just a theory. But if you look at what they did in Ukraine, and you consider that Trump's guy was bigly instrumental in that, well Ukraine looks like a trial run for a destabilisation attempt against the USA. I'm hoping that's just a paranoid idea though, or at least that the plan fails if it's real.
You guys do know that they found fake emails planted in with the real emails? Yeah that's out and now, and it's in the mix with other recent FBI activities the upshot of which are that now the FBI are investigating themselves, probably an internal affairs kind of investigation. So it looks to me like an attack, on the USA by Russia, with help from agents within the FBI -- but it's just a theory.
