Seems likely. I recall Palin was easily attacked and the right rallied around her because the big, bad liberals made fun of her. Melania's ridiculous remarks seemed like "Gaslighting". Now I think they wanted her to be attacked.

Just saw ABC morning news show her part of speech about bullying and then ABC shifted immediately to especially nasty and false Trump tweets. Media is not letting go of the ludicrous irony of her speech when her husband is most disgusting prominent bully out there.
