New Poll: Clinton has 7-point lead in Virginia (45-38)

Hillary Clinton has a 7-point lead over Donald Trump among likely voters in Virginia, 45 percent to 38 percent, according to a Roanoke College poll released Friday.

Libertarian nominee Gary Johnson has the support of 5 percent of likely Virginia voters and Green Party nominee Jill Stein is backed by 2 percent.

Another 9 percent of likely voters in the state are undecided.

Clinton is viewed favorably by 40 percent of respondents and unfavorably by 47 percent, while Trump is viewed favorably by just 25 percent of voters and unfavorably by 58 percent.

With such a lead here, it makes me hopeful for North Carolina.
