1. If Romney had won

with the same electoral and popular vote count he with most other repubs would be saying that he has a mandate plus a landslide. They use the GOP control of the house as a indicator of power when they know damned well that the only reason they held it was due to gerrymandering. They are as divorced from reality now as before the election. Another thing a modern landslide looks nothing like what Reagan, Clintion of LBJ did years ago. The country is more divded on ideological (and some respects racial) lines.
