Republicrats that oppose the establishment...

... are doomed.

A short time ago, I made a comment that a republicrat that opposed the establishment would most likely be primaried next election and more immediately, have thier committee assignments revoked. Well, bye bye committee assignments.

"... Representative Tim Huelskamp, Republican of Kansas, one of the most conservative members of the House, was removed from the budget committee as well as the agriculture committee. Joining Mr.Huelskamp, a second-term representative, on the budget committee bye-bye list was Representative Justin Amash of Michigan"

"... Representative David Schweikert of Arizona, who bested Representative Ben Quayle in a member-on-member election fight this year, was removed from the financial services committee, as was Representative Walter B. Jones of North Carolina"

It seems less like a democracy within the republicrat party and more like a dictatorship-ceo arrangement. You are not allowed the option of a voice... you are punished for excercising that voice if it is contrary to the strict party line.

Is this the kind of *leadership* we need to see from a party that claims to represent the People?

Some bastardized hybrid of a Republican and a Democrat?

Your choice of words may find itself on a tombstone ... just a guess.

Every post in this thread is about a pet name about the worthless right instead of it's content.

I will no longer use *republicrats* as those here just don't seem to be adult enough to get it.

How about republican'ts? Republicraps? How about just righties?

Is this what democrats do? Make a big thing out of trivial pet names if they aren't what they understand?

No wonder I'm an Independent

My first impression was to think you were conflating republicans and Democrats. And that, if you haven't already figured it out, is strongly frowned upon at a site called Democratic Underground.

From what I can see, the GOP is floundering, and that's just fine with me.

... I was commenting on how predictible they have become.

Perception is key in polyticks. Behavior creates perception. When behavior becomes predictible, what does that say about their perception?

My question is this... If their behavior is so predictible, why do those on the right still not see it?
What is their perception in the eyes of the righties?
