On Jay Leno: Romney offers nothing for uninsured

Jay Leno pushed Mitt Romney last night "to explain what he would offer Americans with pre-existing medical conditions so that they might retain their coverage, perhaps the most popular provision of the president's health care law," NBC News reports.

Romeny: "People with pre-existing conditions, as long as they have been insured before, they are going to be able to continue to have insurance."

Leno: "Suppose they haven't been insured."

Romney: "If they are 45 years old and they show up and say I want insurance because I have heart disease, it's like, 'Hey guys. We can't play the game like that. You've got to get insurance when you are well and then if you get ill, you are going to be covered.'"

Gets the votes of the people who have self-interest in his election. Obama should win with 99% of the vote.

...to know they're voting against themselves.

That's the genius of the GOP and its think tanks - keep the people ignorant and misinformed.

The hospital cant legally turn you away. So you go bankrupt and everyone else is stuck with the bill. See, that's "the game" we are already playing. Either get health insurance for everyone, or tell people they cant go to the doctor if they are poor.

When he started out with how he would repeal "Obamacare" immediately upon entering office, a rousing cheer went up.

But I was impressed with Leno in that he actually asked him proper counterpoints. EVEN JAY LENO IS MORE HARD HITTING THAN MSM NEWS SHOWS! Mitt started stumbling and repeating himself when he was asked what he would replace it with and how it would work.

If you're a wolf with big teeth, you're fine. If you're an antelope that was born with a deformity, caught a disease, or broke a leg, you're fucked. That's the modern Randian view of human "civilization".
