George W. Bush Renews Call For Immigration Reform

Former President George W. Bush called on lawmakers to tackle immigration reform with a "benevolent spirit" during a conference on immigration and economic growth Tuesday morning.

Bush said he hopes lawmakers shaping the nation's policies "keep in mind the contribution of immigrants" during introductory remarks at the event, which was hosted by the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, Texas.

The conference was intended to spotlight immigrants who have contributed meaningfully to the economic growth and culture of the country.

"Immigrants come with new skills and new ideas," Bush said. "They fill a critical gap in the labor market."

and while you can be 100% correct and I respect your post,

in 2016 Jeb will be their candidate under the Repubs want to win ticket

and they fight dirty, they know the angles, and they win

except for 1992
and taking out the animosity toward W, or if his name was not in that article,
the words in the article are 100% true

We cannot let them steal this issue.

President Obama won what, 70% of the Hispanic/Latin vote.

Even saying Jeb can narrow it to 50-50 tie, that would be a 20% drop for us.

It is the brilliance of President Obama to have created the motto "FORWARD"
and we need to keep focused on the long time prize we have in our grasp now
but need a few more election victories

there was only one time a Bush was defeated.
We need to have history repeat itself for the good in 2016 with the same that defeated them in 1992.

If we don't win, instead of forward, we shall again move backward.

10. THE BUSH DOES GOOD

There are a few good things that can be said about this BUSH. He did promote a better immigration policy though he did not have the horse power to get it passed the GOP idiots.

I hope the next time the BUSH goes public he continues to reform for his past sins and continues to promotes good versus the evil he did for 8 years.
