If Comey has something to say for himself, let him say it in court in prosecution of his Hatch Act violation.

Amazing that Don Siegleman sits in prison while people like Comey act with impunity.
https://free-don.us/

By the way, Next week would be an excellent time for Obama to pardon Siegleman.

I grew up in Alabama and through talks with friends who are active in Alabama politics, the Siegleman trial was deplorable.

So hope that Obama gives him pardon that he should have received years ago.

Franken: FBI's Comey should face Senate hearings
By Eric Bradner, CNN Updated 9:41 AM ET, Sun November 6, 2016

Washington (CNN)Sen. Al Franken called Sunday for the Senate Judiciary Committee to hold hearings on FBI Director James Comey's handling of the investigation into Hillary Clinton's private server.

Don't like "should" and "called for" but it's a promising start.

Comey supposedly has arrogantly prided himself on being above politics, yet he got himself totally immersed, both domestically and internationally, and nearly threw what may be the most critical election of our lifetimes. At least I hope it turns out to be. He has very possibly cost us senate and house seats, as well as other races.

28. Special Prosecutor Time
Sun Nov 6, 2016, 12:05 PM
Nov 2016

Comey may have made the best of bad choices. A Special Prosecutor could uncover the bad actors at the bureau. Knowing that the Trumpistas in the bureau were going to leak their story for political gain, Comey may have tried to limit the damage prior to the election. His ambiguous letter was non-committal. It was possibly designed to diffuse more vile leaks that he anticipated from the Gestapo cell operating in the New York office.

Let's put all of these agents (and Comey) on leave until a SP can drain the swamp. As I understand it, the Hatch Act does not carry criminal sanction. It only calls for firing. If money traded hands, further corruption charges would apply. No evidence yet of that. Phone calls to Rudy or the Trump campaign may, however, be criminal behavior.

The records don't show anything yet to Trump but it usually doesn't come out until after the election. There is a photo on FB of a Trump sign on his lawn. This entire situation stinks. Comey should resign. ............
