Bill O’Reilly Blames Gays For The ‘War On Christmas’

By Zack Ford on Dec 7, 2012 at 12:15 pm

Fox News really doesn’t seem to have anything better to do in December than continue to manufacture the silly “War on Christmas” and then take real umbrage to the fake campaign. Despite Jon Stewart’s epic dismantling earlier this week, Bill O’Reilly continues his reverse-crusade, and now he’s implicating women and LGBT people in the process. Last night, he and Bernard McGuirk, executive producer of Imus in the Morning, revealed that they actually believe there’s a war against Christianity that’s being led by champions of the right to choose and LGBT equality:

MCGUIRK: The war on Christmas is very, very real, and if you ask me, in addition to some grouchy misanthropic heathen atheists it has to do — at the root of it — with two things — abortion and the gay rights agenda, because Christianity is against those things. It’s subtle but that’s why it’s so pronounced in recent years.

O’REILLY: Hundred percent agree. I absolutely agree 100 percent that the diminishment of Christianity is the target and Christmas is the vehicle because the secularists know the opposition to their agenda (legalized drugs is in that as well) comes primarily from the Judeo-Christian traditionalist people.

war on Christmas. The government has no place endorsing religion or it's holidays, and when O'Reilly realizes that he will know that there is no war on Christmas.

some public and school authorities have chosen to call them "holiday trees" instead. The thumper wackos on local (Portland Oregon) radio have been railing about how awful this is. I have decided after a good 30 seconds of deep and profound analysis that it would be futile to try to discuss with them the origin of the holiday tree. E.g., Jesus never had one.

the teachers (public school), and staff, who were Jewish, Buddhist, Muslim, and Atheist, went ballistic when their names were put up on balls on a Christmas tree by the Supervisor (extreme Christian) of Food Services. They wanted their names OFF a Christian Christmas Tree. The Principal was livid that she did this without PERMISSION of the staff, and him. This Supervisor then thought she could just put up a Mennorah for the Jewish staff as appeasement. Well, what about the Non Christian, Non Jewish staff? The Principal said put up SNOWFLAKES with EVERYONE'S name in them which would not be offensive to any staff, parents, or children.

Of course, the FUNDIE CHRISTIANS were not happy with that compromise. TOUGH ! ! !

Christmas party, wedding or any other celebration where pasty white guy O'Reilly was the minority.
Maybe a pagan ceremony of some kind.

Can you arrange this?

8. The "War on Christmas" and the "War on Christianity"

Is run entirely by Xians, or those who claim to be (I don't want to hear about them not being "REAL" christers).

They've perverted a religion into a political mess Jesus would not recognize, have made tremendously hateful statements time and time again, and are now reaping the rewards of that.

Personally I don't care what anyone believes, as long as they keep it out of my life. But they had to claim supremacy, spew the "freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion," as a THREAT, and as far as I'm concerned they can go back to the stone age, where they'd be much more comfortable.

And perhaps they can finally leave the rest of us the fuck alone.
