I would love to do a well thought-out, detailed OP of how incredibly angry I am at the possibility

of the overturning of the health care law by the right wing criminals on the supreme court. I've dipped in and out of the news coming from the hearings the last three days, just got done watching a segment on CBS news -

But I can't do the topic justice at a level appropriate for you here at DU because I find myself just impossibly frustrated and irate. I am word-locked - it is all raw emotions, not logical words. It has spread to me being irate at all Republicans, at Libertarians, and the frauds that hide behind "liberty", "patriotism", "common sense", "Christianity/religion", "values",or any other dog whistle code words that "they" use to wrap their pathetic arms selfishly around all that they have, working to a time that never existed (well, only in their own little minds). What they do and how they live in no way resembles that which they profess to represent.

So that is all I will say as I sit here fuming at what could happen - and I will continue to fume even if it is upheld because everything about the way that the right wing goes about it's hypocritical lives just seems so utterly wrong.

One of the people named in a suit that attempts to overthrow the healthcare law happens to live in my community. His position is that he is so wealthy he should not be forced to purchase health insurance. He feels that he does not need health insurance at all for his wife, children or himself.
I keep thinking of what I could say to him if and when I run into him at civic type meetings.
I made the mistake once of trying to reason with him on an environmental issue but it was hopeless - he did not care about human health issues.
Anyway - he is a perfect example of the opposition and I know there is really no way to reach them because it requires empathy to care about the healthcare law. They are different people with missing parts.
But I despise this man and all those selfish people. That law was my future hope and the hope of so many others.

He was born into money and made a bundle on Wall Street. He moved to this podunk town and argues with city and county regulations that affect him. He probably thinks he will always be financially secure not matter what happens.

that wants the rest to conform to him/her. They knew what the community was like before they moved in...they shouldn't make every one else change.

The start of something better for so many Americans is going to be shot down due to politics? I'm aghast and disgusted.

If those scoundrels win this one I give up.

I will not care anymore. I will wish the scum sucking low lifes win in November so Obama and his family can have a rest and the hell with everything. And especially to 'progressives' that have fought Obama tooth and nail for these years - have fun. because I don't give a shit about your asses anymore.

the thugs will have won and you helped that win.

I may want to fight along with fellow liberals, but it is apparent that the Jane hamshers, Arriana Huffs, Ted ralls and Naders have allowed the right to stroke their egos (and their wallets.) I will not wish the scum wins, because, as much as I would love to see the ship of fools sink, I know my family and I will go down with it, as well as a lot of helpless people that did not have the afroemntioned "left" bank accounts.

Not just the enforced payer part.

How can they do that?
Do they have the power to kill any law they want even if there is no constitutional justification to do so?
Talk about overstepping your authority!

The conservative court has become to the judicial system what Fox News has become to news services.
They are simply agents of corporate America just like the lobbyists.

will happen. The decision won't be out until late June. Have a glass of Chardonnay, and a smoke. That might help. Until a ruling is actually issued, it's all just wild conjecture. However, i will say that the suspense has only heigtened my resolve to see that Pres. Obama is reelected, because it's important who replaces Justices Ginsburg & Stevens.

I'm feeling the same way I felt after the Supreme Ct stole the Presidency from VP Gore. I feel like I'm losing my country to corporations and greedy, selfish, idiots.
