The story is moving very quickly.

Just as the Donald is to meet the more honorable Mitt Romney this weekend, the story breaks that he has agreed to pay a $25 million dollar settlement, in a fraud case, that had been going on for about six years.

Nobody knows whether Mitt would take the job as Secretary of State? But just the act, of getting Mitt to be in his presence, will give him credibility with the good Republicans. Would Mitt take the position of Secretary of State if it were offered?

But then, the story breaks! Donald Trump has agreed to settle a lawsuit for $25 million dollars. It had been going on for six years. His Trump University had defrauded some people of their life savings and there was a suit with about 6000 signatures that swore to how they had been robbed by Mr. Trump's University.

But then, people can see what the future holds.

Since the days of Bill Clinton and Paula Jones, the Supreme Court had ruled that a president was not exempt from civil suits and court fights.

What's next? Those that have already brought charges against him for sexual assault would be brought before the public to testify against the President of the United States?

Is anyone sure they want to go thru with this?

To the end?

Gee, wonder if Mitt if prepared to suck dick for the appointment as SOS?

We'll see how much moral backbone he has. Not holding out for any reassurance.

It makes very good sense and seems obvious.

If he meets Romney for an hour, listens to him for fifty-five minutes and then tells him how good he looks for five minutes, Romney will be seen leaving with a smile and talking about the promise of tomorrow. It will give Trump more legitimacy among a significant group of Republicans.

As far as his business goes, I'm not sure how a blind trust is seen by the courts when it comes to litigation. Does Trump get any protections during litigation of a case where the actions took place before the blind trust was in place?
