I am on this board, and although immune to their fears, due to my husband being employed and insured through his university, I definitely am terrified for my breast cancer sisters.

(6,251 posts)In a televised press conference, Mitch McConnell said that his first legislative priority was the repeal of the ACA. Not the replacement, not the improvement . . . the repeal.
I went hysterical and frightened my mother. I'm an endometrial cancer survivor (three years so far) and I purchase my insurance from the exchange. Without the ACA, I will have some very hard choices to make when/if my stage III cancer comes back.
When you are told you have cancer, you can either fight or give up. We need to fight this administration and Congress as if they were a cancer on this nation.

(36,926 posts)My husband reassures me that because we have group insurance through his employer, I don't need to worry about the preexisting condition clause being revoked. But how the hell do we know what these monsters will do??
