Who should have been our nominee in 2016?

Just curious to see where we are at. Full disclosure - I supported Bernie Sanders in the Primaries, but voted for Hillary Clinton in the General (of course).

bash our candidate somewhere else. Yes, we had a flawed candidate. She was a woman not a white man. Yes, she ran a losing campaign after being set to standards that were not set for any white male candidate. Yes, this country is racist, sexist, xenophobic; and this election (if it wasn't hacked) is a true sign of the hatred that abounds for "other", especially FEMALE other in this country and around the world. Our country is nothing special; just a bunch of hate filled white men with lots of power.

Or do you just think anybody who supported Bernie Sanders in the primary should go somewhere else?

we have been on this board a long time. But your candidate has taken over our/my party so you have that. Take your small victory and allow others to mourn an incredible loss. Please.

What are you going to do? You can't criticize Hillary Clinton or praise Bernie Sanders without certain assumptions being made.

Yes, people make assumptions. That is a part of life.

I see the two piles of bullshit are still running head to head in your poll. A poll that includes exactly one democrat listed.

Look at how the bullying Trump eliminated all the Republicans with his bullying. Quality people just don't know how to respond to that. This was a very crooked campaign by Trump. He will not have a Honeymoon period.

because a lot of people are going to suffer after the GOP and Trump get through with this country. And I really hoped Hillary Clinton would win in a landslide-- I feel so badly for her and the nation.

IMHO, the safest potential candidate who probably would have dispatched Trump in an instant was Joe Biden. Losing the Supreme Court for a generation will enshrine citizens united and probably gerrymandering to the great detriment of the country, so in retrospect I'm all for picking the safest possible candidate who would have stacked up well against Trump. As for Bernie Sanders, he was a more risky candidate to run, but if he could have turned around the conversation in this country from "me, me, me" to the idea of promoting the common good, he could have won and had tremendous historical influence.

The moral of President T is that the VRWC would have arranged for a ham sandwich to win if they had to. Come to think of it, they did.

Unless you have an idea on how to fix the United States ability to accurately recount the vote then why waste our time?

But she isn't Bill or Barack and needed all hands on deck to put her over. She didn't get it. That's on us I guess.

No way the vulgar talking yam takes WI, MI and especially PA if he's the nominee. Pity the DNC elites who were wedded to HRC pressured him not to run.
