The Sad Truth: Every New Trump Outrage Is Cheered By His Supporters

While we at DU, other Ds and even the media recognize for what they are every new and dangerous outrage by the guy who got 2-million votes less than Hillary, he is giving his supporters exactly what they wanted and expected.

The "in your face, fuck you!" attitude being expressed by this manchild is music to the ears of all those privileged types who feel oppressed by the emerging equalities being given to minorities in this country. To them, Trump is simply standing up for them and their victimhood. He's saying exactly what they want to hear.

It's really a quandry for those looking to oppose such a disastrous PEOTUS. On the one hand, there's so much that is obviously and patently wrong with everything he has said and done since being declared the winner of the election. On the other hand, there is an alternate universe that exists in our country where the childish is seen as being strong, where ignorance is celebrated and where overt bigotry is seen as fighting non-existent reverse racism/sexism.

We have a fight on our hands, and it's a fight that is totally unique in our history. Victory - while not impossible - will not be easy.

...you knew exactly who/what I was on 11/8 with you voted for me so what's the issue. In his tiny little mind, the rules got set when he "won" the election.

No transparency.
Self dealing as a way of life.
Using his political hobby to line his own pockets.

There is absolutely NOTHING new in this stories and quite frankly, nobody is surprised. We knew it was going to happen and voted HRC. His supporters knew it was going to happen but didn't care what he did as long as he made america white again.

He is, in effect, saying "I refuse to dance to the tune of a civilized society" and daring society to assert itself. And in this election, 45+% of the population said "hell yeah"...so you're right, turning this ship away from the rocky shores of 1920-1950 overt -isms in America will not be easy but even more important in today's more diverse, more connected world.
