What does it say when more than 2 million Democrats voted than Republicans in recent election?

Which Party is winning and which Party is losing, in the vote totals?

Just how much is your vote worth?

If you get 2 million more votes than your opponent and still lose, then we must question the value of voting at all?

Or perhaps Stalin was right? It doesn't matter who gets the most votes. It matters who counts the votes.

Live Free or Diebold, as we used to say in Dubya's reign. It very much matters who counts the vote Hekate Nov 2016 #1

One of the biggest problems we face now is the Electoral College, because the votes of 35 million Californians count for a fraction of the votes of those in really tiny states. There's nothing "proportional" about it at all. As an American, I think this stinks -- as a Californian, doubly so.

same reason DC can't get statehood. same reason republicans control congress even though more individual votes are cast for democrats.

There are boundaries around our present system of government, where average citizens are not permitted to trespass.
