And is the civil trial of the 13-year old rape victim still going forward? It was supposed to start next month.

After the press conference that the woman cancelled, I believe she decided to not go forward with any trial also.

Think she dropped the case again out of fear. Hope I'm wrong on this, but I did see a post to that fact just last week.

20. That "Jezebel.com" article you just replied to was based on a Daily Mail article
Sun Nov 27, 2016, 06:19 PM
Nov 2016

from the same date as the "Jezebel.com" article, Nov. 4, 2016
"EXCLUSIVE: Trump's 13-year-old 'rape victim' dramatically DROPS her case.
Woman withdraws legal claim she was assaulted at Jeffrey Epstein sex party"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3894806/woman-alleged-raped-Donald-Trump-13-Jeffrey-Epstein-sex-party-DROPS-case-casting-doubt-tru

The above Daily Mail article was written by Ryan Parry, who clearly was biased against the woman, as well as her claims against Trump:
"DailyMail.com has learned she has two DUIs and a felony drug possession and a history of drug abuse."

Three days later, Ryan Parry wrote a follow-up Daily Mail article:
"EXCLUSIVE: Troubled woman with a history of drug use who claimed that she was assaulted by Donald Trump at a Jeffrey Epstein sex party at age 13 MADE IT ALL UP"
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-3914012/Troubled-woman-history-drug-use-claimed-assaulted-Donald-Trump-Jeffrey-Epstein-sex-party-age

Parry wrote: "But Daily Mail has learned that the claims made against Trump were fiction"
However, he offers up absolutely no proof to support his claim that the woman "MADE IT ALL UP" or that "the claims made against Trump were fiction."

Apparently, Parry is basing his "she made it all up" claims on the following, taken from his last paragraph in the Nov. 7 article:
(From an interview she supposedly had with the Daily Mail)
"She acknowledged in the interview that she had no idea who Donald Trump was at the time.
But she claims that she would never forget his face and it was only years later when Trump starred in The Apprentice that she recognized the man she says sexually assaulted her.
That may be the crucial flaw in her story."

What a bunch of crap!
THAT "may be the crucial flaw in her story"?
That she didn't know the identity of the man who raped her at Jeffrey Epstein's sex party until she saw the same man on "The Apprentice"?

How the hell can THAT be "the crucial flaw in her story"?

How is the fact that, back in 1994, she didn't know the name of the fat pedophile who raped her at Epstein's sex party proof of anything?

I don't know why this woman dropped her case against Trump & Epstein; but I sure would like to know, wouldn't you?

She gave testimony UNDER OATH, under penalty of perjury, that Donald Trump and his good friend Jeffrey Epstein both raped her back in 1994 when she was 13-years-old.

Would a person make a story like that up, knowing that the penalty for lying under oath is spending meny years in a federal prison?

I don't think so.

I think she dropped the case because she was afraid .....because of the death threats....and because Trump threatened her and her family if she ever told anyone about the rape.

I wonder what Lisa Bloom thinks about her decision to drop the case?

She was not bought off. She is a victim of trump and his cultists and a rape survivor.

I am going to take Attorney Bloom at her word.

You are the second person in this thread insinuating that she was bought off.

I prefer to take her former attorney's word as truth. Trump cultists are awful and will do his bidding without a mere penny being passed.

They're both also very good at making the political talk show rounds and gaining a lot of publicity. I deeply and profoundly hope that this offer, together with the other ongoing strategies, works to block Trump from seizing the presidency.

And threatened with vengeance and death, for them and their families. Because that's how the hard-right operates -- even before the election, that sort of chatter was out on the net.

It would be a wonder if the electors' doing their proper duty to the country would save us. Realistically, they are probably fairly ordinary people who would most likely buckle when faced with the raw power of 24/7 hate and intimidation.

is a reality these days. I appreciate that you pointed that out. I still hope for bravery and heroism in face of that. Alternatively, I hope that fear of Trump taking office is stronger than fear of possible repercussions from the deplorables on the loose who have been emboldened by the election results to act out criminally.
