Campaign Season Starts in Earnest in Minnesota

I'm heading out to the State Senate District DFL Convention for SD 67 this morning. This convention signals the real start of the 2012 campaigns. We'll be endorsing one candidate for state senator and two candidates to run for the state house. We'll also be selecting delegates for the congressional district convention, which will be held next month. At that next convention, delegates for the state convention will be elected.

And so it begins. November seems a lot closer today.

one. So, I won't be involved with any endorsements in that district. I'm in CD4, and Betty McCollum is our representative. She's terrific! I'm sure she'll be at the convention to speak today. You've gotta love Betty!
