If Republicans Push Country Into Default, Media Will Portray Crisis As Obama's Economic Policy

We saw this during the 2012 Presidential election when the media gave Republicans a free pass in framing the election as a referendum on President Obama's economic policies even though Romney's own running mate helped orchestrate much of the brinksmanship that negatively impacted the economy.

Now, the media is generally turning a blind eye to Republican threats to hold the economy hostage and default of the Nation's debt unless they get their way. This is now portrayed as normal. Republicans are allowed to minimize the outrageous nature of their threats. Yet, if the economy does go into a tailspin, this same media will turn around portray the meltdown as a evidence of the failure of President Obama's economy? And, what about the role of Republicans? The media will blame President Obama for his "failure to lead," which is the new code for failing to embrace Republican ideals and guess at what Republicans want.

In the end, the primary driver of this debacle is the media's utter failure to hold Republicans accountable. Even worse, the more crazy Republicans act, the more Democrats and President Obama are blamed due to the false equivalency that the corporate media uses to obscure their bias.

The babbling MSM twits framing it as "the republican's have cards to play!"

If the democrats were pulling this shit, they would relentless slammed as treasonous.
