Sorry Lindsay Graham, but John Bolton is not going to be the Secretary of Anything anytime soon

so if your plan is to keep attacking every Obama nominee until Bolton is nominated, you can come back to Earth at your convenience because it's not happening.

Trying to establish some wing nut street creds to play to the base. At least, that's my take.

And 10 to 1 says his posturing still doesn't work, he's primaried, and an even more vile Goober goes to the Senate from SC.

Graham is usually one of the more reasonable Pukes. The fact that he is acting this crazy now is because he fears a primary challenge from the right. This is pure politics at play.

It's fucking ridiculous to appoint someone UN Ambassador who is on record stating that they think the UN shouldn't exist.

The guy was confirmed by the Senate for his Under Secretary of Defense job. If Chimp had nominated him for Deputy Secretary of Defense I'd have supported it. Hell even if he'd nominated him for Defense Secretary, I'd be inclined to say that's his prerogative, although I'd say that it would be highly ill-advised given how poorly the Iraq War had been going under the hard-liners.

But trying to appoint the guy to a diplomatic post is truly a horrible idea and that's where the Senate's role of advice and consent comes in.

Paul Thurmond should challenge Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary to win back his fathers old US Senate seat.
SC will have diverse representation in the US Senate.
