Very Urgent: Fucking Critical that every day from now on we start a thread in order to explore

ways to prevent Republicans in Red states, who control all branches of state govt,.from drawing up plans to gerrymander legislative districts in order to prevent a Democratic Presidential Candidate from ever winning an election again..

We are in a fucking battle of our lives here and last night I started a thread trying to ascertain our
options and strategies to go head to head with these freaks who want to destroy our one man one vote
principal of our democracy.

The responses were good and please try to find the thread, but there were no absolutes on how to stop
this incredibly immoral power play from playing itself out in all Red Controlled States...Including Ohio, Wisc
and Virginia and many more. In essence if these gerrymandering tactics were in place before the 2012
election.. Obama would have lost or at least the outcome would have been very close.

My head was spinning this a.m. and I thought that perhaps the DNC needs to set up shop in these states
immediately and begin a recall strategy for some of the rep. leaders of that state. Couldn’t we set up an
exploratory public committee to let Gov. Mcdonald know that if he signs this gerrymandering piece of shit
legislation into law that a recall petition will begin to remove him from office.

I also like the idea which another DUer brought up yesterday which is a national boycott of Virginias economy including traveling to the state and visiting their resorts.

Anyway please lets continue this conversation and explore ideas on how to prevent these radical extremists
from destroying our country....By the way where is the DNC on this. This is a fucking urgent matter!!

1. It's interesting how the logic of these Repubs doesn't apply to states like TX, GA, SC, AZ, etc.

If they believe every voter should have similar representation in the Electoral College, then why aren't red states rushing to change how they apportion their electoral votes?

This is nothing more than a hypocritical, grasping at straws power grab.

4. Not to be flippant...but we can make sure we get more people

to vote Democratic...more GOTV. We can do this! The Rethugs have been exposed for all their vitriol and cheating. We also need someone to take the matter to court and get the SCJ to vote it unconstitutional. We can do that too... if Obama gets 2 more SC appointments.
