Americans admire someone who has money. Romney is likely one of those people who is so

admired by the GOP. How he made his money is not particularly admirable or novel. He didn't really add anything to the world. This superficial type of popularity will sink him. I don't think he has much to offer as a person. Certainly not when you compare him to most Presidents. The GOP establishment were blinded by their money lust. They picked a hero without the heart of/in the story. They have a tin ear.

where they can actually show a product or service that they sold and made them wealthy.

the problem with Romney is he can't do that. he can't even show a business like walmart or even some home shopping network/informercial type product he sold to make himself wealthy.

because he became wealthy by selling out people. not by providing something .

he really did nothing for ordinary people.

this puts him in a worse position compared to even the typical ceo, who can usually claim that they had a hand in delivering goods or services to consumers, even if all they did was oversee an operation that others set up and continued.

but don't think they have much use for an elitist snob who has millions stashed in Swiss banks or the Cayman Islands in order to avoid taxes.

and that will become clear. It is one thing for a Steve Jobs, a Bill Gates, a Warren Buffett who at least had the smarts to make their fortune, but Mitt has been a pampered pet all his life, and that shows. At least W. could fake being working class.
