raising money. Coleman is formidable and can a take a good shot at Kashich, forcing him to raise money.

Kasich or Portman.

Portman has to deal with Hillary being on top of the ticket in 2016.

Kasich is going to be hard to beat simply because he plays well in Ohio. He's still pretty moderate and he wont scare away suburban republicans.

if he gets enough money behind him.
He's a great speaker on his feet, passionate - all the things Portman is not.

as Portman is rather bland, doesn't fire people up;OTOH, he does not do outrageous things. I don't know at this time who the charismatic Dem is/will be. It helps to have own money, and Portman and family have that.

Betty Sutton, Congresswoman gerrymandered out of office, is talking about running for governor. I don't know - she could be good, but not sure.
Whoever runs against Kasich will have to be able to give as good as he gets. - Kasich can be mean.

The situation, as reported, certainly doesn't make her a sympathetic figure.

I'm looking at White in TX- I don't know anything about him, but that has to be a tough race, no matter who's running on the other side.

Is O'Malley termed limited -out in MD?
Who the heck is Hanger in PA?

Bill white- mayor of Houston will be running against Perry,Dewhurst,or Abbott.
O'Malley-MD is term limited.
Hanger is PA state EPA chair.
Polls show him performing well against Corbett- PPP shows him trailing by 4 points, while other Democratic candidates- McCord,Schwartz, and Sestak were trailing by 6-7 points. The only Democrat that was performing better than Hanger is Nutter.

I remember Jim Florio was supposed to coast to reelection and the polling had him leading the election well guess what happened he lost to Whitman. And we got SCREWED!!! she raided our Police And Fireman's Pension system of millions of dollars to balance the states budget and the Pension system hasn't been the same since.Arrogant ass comes in to office and starts blaming the state workers need to pay more into the pension system to save it.In 2011 they passed this supposedly pension reform that did nothing but take the state out of paying there share of the money

Been the Democratic nominee for the US Senate in 2000 instead Corzine, Florio would be in his 3rd term as US Senator- instead of Menendez.
NJ voters wanted to punish Florio for raising taxes in order to balance the budget, fix the public schools,etc..

The nominee for Governor in MA isn't gonna be Steve Grossman--it's going to be Mike Capuano.
