Sarah Palin will speak at CPAC

Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin will speak at this year’s Conservative Political Action Conference, the American Conservative Union announced Monday.

The 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee has all but disappeared from the national spotlight. Her relationship with Fox News ended in January. But she can still rally a huge crowd, as she did at last year’s CPAC.

The 2013 conference, held in mid-March, will feature a bevy of high-profile Republicans. Sen. Marco Rubio (Fla.), former Florida governor Jeb Bush, Sen. Rand Paul (Ky.) and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker are all planning to speak.

The definition of conservative is partly to be resitant to change. By their very nature they are slow learners. Hope they hold on to the hate mongers a little longer as it crushes their chances of passing legislation that harms working people.
