(40,416 posts)I would presume that they are regretting their votes now. I would never have voted for him as I saw him for what he is, a Libertarian douche nozzle pretending to be a moderate Republican, which somehow seems to resonate here in Michigan.
Rick Snyder will be a one term governor.

Governor- Peters or Bernero.
Attorney General- Whitmer.
Secretary of State- Benson.
Whoever the Democratic nominee for Governor is should select a black Lt Governor from Detriot- Kenneth Cockrel.

(56,828 posts)the governor of CT was either Republican or Independent for 20 years.
He barely won against a millionaire businessman in 2010 - if the same guy ran again, he might be able to win.
The GOP doesn't have much depth in CT, but they do have a lot of rich businessmen in the state.

(613 posts)Rowland-R won in the 1994 wave, re-elected in 1998 and 2002- went to prison for couple of years.
Rell-R succeeded Rowland, won in 2006, retired in 2010.
