I fell asleep with the tv on and all of a sudden I hear this babbling noise that woke me up. I look at the tv and it was that idiot Marsha Blackburn blathering non stop about something or other that made no sense at all.

Lie #1: The sequester was Obama's idea.

Truth: It was The House of Representatives' idea.

I believe it came out of the House finance committee because of
a stalemate in negotiations, and that a majority (if not all)
Republicans voted Yes to approve the resolution.

Lie #2: Increasing revenue was "never on the table", just spending cuts.

Truth: the sequester was the outcome of an "arbitration" process
in order to force both sides to come to an agreement (on spending
cuts and increased revenues / eliminating tax loopholes) by a specific
deadline (March 1, 2013), thinking that -- given time -- they would
eventually find an amicable solution. As most savvy folks know, the
Republican'ts in the House don't want solutions -- gridlock is what they
want (provided Obama gets the blame)

Romney and Ryan both blathered on endlessly about how they were in
favor of closing tax loopholes during the campaign. Boehner gushed that
he got 98% of everything he wanted in the deal.

Lie #3: It's up yo Obama AND/OR the Senate to fix the problem.

Why? You GOP idiots in the House created it! Pass-the-Buck-Boehner,
what a useless POS. DO YOUR EFFING JOB !!!

Truth: Finance Bills can only be created and approved by the House --
not the Senate, and certainly not by the Executive Branch.

Do conservatives actually live in this reality, or even in this universe?

These lies are being pushed hard by the cons and we are losing the
battle of "messaging". Dickheads like Chuck Todd will co-sign this BS
every time because it makes for contrived debate and controversy.

quit getting some shill to speak the GOP lies in as much media as they can grab. Messageboard and blogger media included along with TV.

Quit making the crappy 'news show' the topic and enabling the GOP lie campaigns to spread like the cancer it is.
