Arkansas GOP Newsletter: We need to threaten representatives with murder

Not taken out of context the writer, obviously not well educated and barely coherent, uses violence as a running metaphor when he casually states "I don’t feel the same way about the Democrats as bullet backstops as I do about the Republicans who joined them. "

We need to let those who will come in the future to represent us that we are serious. The 2nd amendment means nothing unless those in power believe you would have no problem simply walking up and shooting them if they got too far out of line and stopped responding as representatives. It seems that we are unable to muster that belief in any of our representatives on a state or federal level, but we have to have something, something costly, something that they will fear that we will use if they step out of line. If we can’t shoot them, we have to at least be firm in our threat to take immediate action against them politically, socially, and civically if they screw up on something this big. Personally, I think a gun is quicker and more merciful, but hey, we can’t.

This makes me recall the days when living in Islamic countries (Indonesia and Malaysia) I would be at some dinner and some visiting American would ask his guests (and this happened frequently) why they are not doing more about their 'radical fundamentalists'.

Inevitably the patient host would feign interest and ask the American what he thinks should be done and when the American was finished with a long list of extra judicial tactics, he would ask if the American would be happy if those things were done to a Christian fundamentalist. He would then explain, patiently, that we all have an obligation to confront these people and persuade them but until they actually commit a crime there is little that can be done.

So Republican trolls visiting here (and I know the provocative -but true title of the OP has caught your attention) what are you, and I mean you personally doing to confront the fundamentalist-terrorist wing of the Republican Party? They are there, they don't hide their uncivilized behavior, they are in positions of power. What are you personally doing about it. I have dozens of Muslim friends that are curious.

Possibly the local U.S. Attorney?

I think these people are dangerous and appear to be conspiring to make death threats. They need to be questioned to find out whether they actually plan to carry out such threats.

I have met and interviewed about 500 Federal law enforcement officers and none of them come close to anything like this.

The academies for federal law enforcement last about 4 months and they carefully scrutinize for radical political beliefs.

They also screen out people who appear to have problems with anger control.

Finally they are particularly aggressive in trying to eliminate people who are deceptive or are found to 'fudge' the truth or dishonest any way.

Border Patrol and Customs Agents readily acknowledge that there will always be some problems both in over aggressive agents and being infiltrated by Cartel agents.

There was a prosecution of BP agents this week:

They are rare and there is an aggressive DHS internal affairs investigative department. There have also been some prosecutions of BP agents who were working for the Cartel. They are very rare though.
