1. I wish his ex-wife would do a campaign ad for Colbert-Busch.

He was cheap, and lousy with money, in addition to being a cheater! If he'd cheat on me and mismanage our household finances, why do you think he won't cheat on YOU and waste your hard earned tax dollars??

...or words to that effect!

Troubling article, but not devoid of hope:

Colbert Busch could certainly still win this race. Sanford remains unpopular and she's run a strong campaign. But we said 2 weeks ago that if Sanford was going to win he needed to shift the focus away from him and toward Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, and it appears he's done that effectively enough to give him the momentum headed into election day.

The only hope is if they aren't enthused, and the smaller contingent of Dems are....

Or if there are Republicans in the district with a sense of shame, who would rather be represented by a sane Democrat, even if they don't agree ideologically...

to carry her across the finish line. The fact that at least one paper is endorsing her is promising.

I was astounded at the dismal showing for our primary (Kerry's senate seat) here in MA.

My guy won, but he's running against a young, bullshitting, empty carpetbagging suit who can recite the Pledge of Allegiance with vim and vigor. Scott Brown Redux, only a little younger looking.

I also really hope the people of MA take the words of Dumbya Bush to heart:

Fooled me once....ummmm....ehhhhhh.....heh heh heh.... won't git fooled AGIN!!!

He used to be a SEAL who got out when he was a LT and he wears clothes like a model! Annnnnd....he's a "businessman"...!!!!!"

We haven't done too well when we elect "businessmen" from the Commonwealth. I often think "businessman" in the context of Republican politicians is code for "bullshitter!"

They will vote for the Republican candidate no matter how much they dislike him or how awful the candidate is. Democrats will vote third party or not vote at all if faced with an awful Democratic candidate.

Party loyalty until death is one area where Republicans will always trump Democrats.

5. PPP was the most accurate poll in 2012, along with Nate. There's no reason to believe that it's not
