It’s amazing how many women Republicans can insult in just one week

A great video from Emily’s Lists, titled #GOPHeartsLadies, walking us through the offensive things Republicans have said about women in just the past seven days.

It starts with GOP Governor of Mississippi Phil Bryant talking about how working moms are to blame for American kids having such lousy test scores.

They ought to do one of these every week, and release it as a documentary before the 2014 election. Squinch Jun 2013 #4

Thanks to Emily's List for putting together this great video. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathetic and sad.

Love your screen name, by the way. I actually "awoke" in 2004. Bush pushed me into liberal activism that year. I thank that asshole for that.

Finalizing my divorce, attending the March For Women's Lives in DC (my first demonstration!), getting active in the anti-war/peace movement, learning about feminism and becoming, at 45, a self-actualizing, confident, voting and vocal liberal.

I alienated a lot of my more conservative friends and family members but is has been worth it. Very much so!

All rational women in the United States who value their freedom, equality, justice and right to choose should vote against EVERY SINGLE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE on the ballot in 2014. Republican politicians have made it clear through their actions that that they want to return this country back to the 19th century and make all women subservient second class citizens so they can reassert their traditional phony religious, fundamentalist, patriarchal, misogynist ideals which they have the nerve to call “FAMILY VALUES!” More like “Family BS!”

Perhaps it is true statement in TeaHadist Pub land.

Face it Pubs can say any dumb assed thing they want because they know their base will not vote for anyone but Pubs.

The GOP base wants the Bryant's, they love folks like King and Cruz.

The people the TeaHadists and Pubs elect are a direct reflection of themselves, ignorant, superstitious, racist, misogynistic fucks.

Saw my 23 year-old niece yesterday and I loved one of her bumper stickers - "The Republican Party - Government so small it fits in you uterus." Sad but true.
