Not if …

That if our “friends” on the “progressive/libertarian left” keep up their “Cry of Freedom” campaign, it’ll move enough young folks to counter any increase in African-American/Hispanic (read: Mexican-looking) voters.

But then again … I think that was the point from the start. And I’m starting to believe that, while a significant portion of this is simply anti-President Obama; a larger measure is to gain/hold likely gop voters/disillusion likely Democratic voters, without having to draw attention to the sorry lot that is the modern gop.

instead of abandoning them like he's done since. If he signs off on KeystoneXL, you are damn right some environmentally conscious voters will stay home. Since he's abandoned and/or ignored them, labor, anti-big brother types, single payer HC advocates, friends of Don Siegelman, anti-torture advocates, and some others, he (and you) can't really expect them to flock to the polls like they did before they realized what his presidency would actually be like.

But, if Du is to serve as the measure, whatever he does (within the contraints of the Congress that he has) and it still wouldn't be enough, even if things have to be invented.

But that said, will YOU be informing those inclined to satay home, how short-sighted the staying home thing is. You can start by telling them (and yourself, if necessary) that if they want FPresident Obama to produce FDR results, we must first give him an FDR congress.

The face of African American Conservative Apologists has turned on the GOP. If they've lost Michael Steele (and those like him) , then they have most decidedly lost the African American vote for the next couple of generations.

Being able to vote much longer, anyway.
I honestly believe the GOP wants to take us back to when only white men who owned property could vote.

If they could get away with making It legal for only whites to be able to vote In this country they would do It.And there would be
permeant one party rule In country.Since It appears at most only 39 to 44 percent of white voters will ever vote for democrats.

That's a bit extreme, on no grounds can the SC make laws, they just uphold and strike them down. We are not on the verge of whites-only voting.

And coming from him, that's rich. He and his running mate, Bob Ehrlich, were notorious for trying to suppress the vote in Baltimore and PG County.

move to change the way electoral votes are granted in time for 2016 Presidential election. the gotp ignoring large swaths of voters is only allowed because some in the party have given up on trying to get the vote and have gone back to their earlier Rovian electoral college scheme.
