unless you go back and look historically what the percentage has been. It wouldn't be too hard, but would take a good amount of time I suppose. The other day I posted something over on Nate's site about the length of time served by a senator and the senator being unseated (personally I would guess by logic the longer they are there the less likely they are to be unseated, but it is an interesting question). You might pop over to his site and post a question like I posed and see if he responds with a column. It would be cool if he could go back say to 1980.
