I went to my first pro-choice rally 25 years ago when pappy Bush was president. I'll never forget it. It was next to a women's clinic. We were there mostly to support the clinic and escort women safely into the clinic from the parking lot. The anti-choice nut balls were across the street with their bloody fetus posters. Then one of them threw some sort of stink bomb or tear gas because all our eyes started watering. Well that prompted the cops to clear the whole area, which was fine with us since that also cleared those wacko assholes away from the clinic.

I can't believe this shit is still going on decades later.

Regulations are great when it comes to women and "teh gays" (regarding marital rights) but regulating corporations and/or people's guns is TOTALLY out of the question (heresy actually)! Also, remember how Republicans HATE government coming between patients and their doctors? They don't seem to have a problem with...um....getting between patients and their doctors when the patients are women and their doctors are abortion providers. They're all for "religious freedom" when it comes to standing up for the Catholic Church's crusade against government mandated birth control coverage but they don't respect the fact that not everybody employed by the Catholic Church and/or its holding companies is Catholic and/or follows Catholic teachings or even has a moral objection to it. We could literally go on forever when it comes to the contradictions and hypocrisies of the modern day Republican Party......

All that freedom and liberty crap they preach goes out the window when it comes to making up unnecessary voter ID laws. I would hate them less if they would at least be consistent with their ideology on all issues.
