Moral Monday critics blinded by their own propaganda

Next came the intimidation tactics, as the Pope Civitas Institute – a group founded and funded by the state budget director – began compiling and publishing an online list of arrested protesters along with personal information about each individual ...

... they are just so downright crude and ham-fisted that you almost have to cringe in embarrassment for the Pope-Civitas people ...

... how can one explain such rubbish?

Here’s the most likely explanation: simple ideology-induced obliviousness.

By all indications, the Pope-Civitas people are so enmeshed in the world of market fundamentalist economics – a place in which the personal acquisition and accumulation of wealth and property is endlessly celebrated and assumed as the driving human instinct and predictor of human behavior in all circumstances – that they simply can’t grasp the notion that Moral Monday protesters would be seeking to vindicate something higher – something like … wait for it, morality ...

1. It Would Seem NC's Conservatives Are A Microcosm . . .

3. right wing extremists aren't conservatives

Most patriotic conservatives support the democratic party because the GOP stopped representing them and has embraced right wing extremism. Teabaggers and their supporters are working hard to maintain the lies that the teabaggers are a legitimate political voice in America.
When you call right wing extremists "conservatives" you are lending legitimacy and respect to their Anti-American aims to destroy our liberties and democracy.
Teabaggers are not political conservatives; they are extremist bigots that have targeted America's cohesion and our history of working together to solve major humanitarian problems and the application of liberties for ALL Americans- instead of just the hate-filled white folks that stuff their empty heads full of fox "news" lies and hyperbole.

Why do teabaggers and the GOP hate America so much?
