5. Beautiful Colorado

We have so many reasons to be proud of Colorado (besides the Rocky Mountains): lots of good Dems like Udall, DeGette, Perlmutter, Polis, who work for reasonable gun legislation, legalizing marijuana, voters' rights, gay rights, economic equity, the environment, against fracking and corporations, for education, on and on. But when it comes to big money to support guns, big oil and gas, secession, bigotry against minorities, climate change deniers, crazies like Tancredo, our Republicans are right up there with Texans and proud of it.
