Bigots in Italy --- We do not have the exclusive on rednecks

Shocking, but true, treatment of Italy’s first black Cabinet Minister----bananas thrown at her and referred to by a government official as looking like an orangutan-Please read the Wikipedia link first to see this woman’s credentials-not that it matters--then read the Washington Post link----
I am saying a prayer about this----it is so sickening
