Report: Alvin Greene arrested
Alvin Greene, the upset South Carolina Senate Democratic primary winner in 2010, has been arrested for trespassing, according to reports.
Greene was taken into custody Friday after allegedly trespassing while walking around in an apartment building around 12:30 a.m., WISTV reported. The incident report said Greene appeared “disoriented,” and he is still incarcerated on $262 bail, according to WISTV.
Greene was the surprise winner of the Democratic primary in the 2010 South Carolina Senate race, edging out Charleston City Councilman Vic Rawl. Greene lost by a substantial margin to Sen. Jim DeMint in the general election.

p.s. I had hoped that his family would have gotten him some help and that he got his life together by now - but it looks like that might not be the case.
