I Just got this email about the senate recall elections in Colorado:

Colorado Senate President John Morse, the top target in an NRA-backed recall, is in real danger of being ousted.

Morse’s problem isn’t public opinion—it’s turnout.

Please chip in $3 each to John Morse and Angela Giron, the two Democrats targeted by the NRA, to help them get out the vote.

Turnout is always sketchy for special elections and, right now, recall supporters are more energized. What’s worse, last week a judge ruled that the state’s new vote-by-mail law didn’t apply to recall elections—upending Democrats’ GOTV plans just weeks before the election.

The NRA is already all-in on this race. They know that a win here would scare state legislators across the country and freeze any movement on legislation to prevent gun violence that we’ve seen at the state level. Right-wingers are even talking openly about the strategy—calling it a “wave of fear.”

1. Here's an idea

Ratchet up the rhetoric that tyranny is being levied on this country by the current Democratic led administration, the leader of the Democratic Party. The GOP/NRA are already using the NSA's 'invasion of privacy' meme as 'proof' that the leadership is attacking every American's 'freedoms'. Of course, the downside of this is that registered Democrats will see no difference between political parties and stay home.

Democrats in congress, Like Keith Ellison, Sherrod Brown, and other democrats are standing up to the NSA spying. More Democratic voters need to pay attention to this, for it proves that there are still trustworthy dens in the party.

We need to GOTV this year and beyond. Please support John Morse and Angela Giron.
