Health Care Exchanges--33 Days 'Till Grand Opening!
Go www.healthcare.gov, and create an account (you can do this now before the exchanges open on Oct. 1).
If your state has set up an online exchange, you will be automatically directed to your state's exchange where you can purchase health insurance coverage from a list of private insurance providers.
If your state has refused to set up an online exchange, a list of private insurance providers will be provided on this website by the federal government.
Right-wing groups are running deceptive ads trying to scare people away from signing up on the exchanges (what a surprise!). IGNORE THEM. The online exchanges are as safe as using ehealthinsurance.com or hotels.com.
