They obviously need to remind the world that they exist by throwing something, that they themselves think is a joke but sends the rest of us to express our indignation and shock. (The last, told me by my spouse, was Glen's threat to fire anyone who works for him who uses efficient light bulb...I think.)

Like the ubiquitous tree that falls in the forest that no one hears, if we will ignore their emanations, they will die.

I don't think that it is their side that repeats their outrageous comments; it is the indignant Chris Matthews and, yes, indignant DUers.

Oh, well. Perhaps I have been outside in the oppressive heat too long. Nice to dream.
