Do you think Obama’s trying to prove he’s a tough guy??

Pushing back on Benghazi?... What the hell is up? He’s proven with out a doubt that National Security is on top of al his political agendas...Why is he considering an attack on Syria when there still so many unanswered questions.

In addition, his recent comments of his race not being an issue in our political world?

Is he just loosing it?

What these right wing punks have done to this man in my opinion can never be forgiven..

He is thoughtful and deliberative. To a fault some would say. No cowboy here.

But this violated longstanding international law and it appears others are hiding in the weeds of post Iraq lies to make us be the ones to deliver some punishment.

He has waited and waited and waited for proof (unlike Dumbya), and will act. No matter what is done and when and where it is done, HE will be castigated both right and left.

to point out the collateral damage of the attacks,,,shots of “innocent civilians killed” on MSNBC and then go over to Fox and point out how his attacks were poorly planned..

They have backed him into a corner from Day 1..
Probably always reminding him that if he does not adhere to their demands, there probably would be a terrorist attack on our “Homeland” and that he would be sorry that he didn’t listen....

There is no psychological issue in play here. It is a question of whether or not there is the insight to objectively stand with, or against the forces of international terrorism. To launch these proposed attacks would abet terror.

unless you are willing to back your words up with action.

I fear that Obama may to forced to take some action that he never expected he would have to. I can only hope that the measures he chooses to take will be effective enough to discourage he further use of chemical weapons in Syria.

OK. Here's mine: The proposition that "Obama’s trying to prove he’s a tough guy" is perhaps the dumbest comment yet made on this matter, though it's been made by many people. It's stupid. It's a stupid and ignorant idea. That's my response that you asked for.

Which most would think meant, that he has been a strong tough leader with regards to this issue..
I can’t figure out if he is just caving to the MIC because that is what they expect the POTUS to do.

Do not tell me that this is not a good question... Does Obama feel he has to have the back of the MIC so that he does not appear weak?

“Dumbest”, “stupid” and “ignorant” are all you have? Pity!!!

The last thing he wants is to get involved in Syria, and he's trying not to.

He asked the Russians to work with us on a joint solution to Syria three years ago. The Russians sell a shitload of arms to Syria and get Mediterranean ship docking privileges from Assad, so they told us to fuck off. Obama said that Syria was deteriorating into a nasty civil war being fought brutally by a number of factions that hate each other, and ALL of them hate us. He sees therefore, little reason (or national interest) for getting involved, much as the human suffering weighs heavily upon him. His natural instinct is to want to help, but realities say it can't be done.

This is not my speculation about his state of mind. I got this direct from the man himself. Anyone who has talked to him in the meantime and gotten a different line from him, feel free to post about it. In the meantime, I think Obama's words in person trump blog board speculation.
