Cornyn at least has someone answering phones in his Washington office. Not so with Teddy. All automated responses.

And I'll say it again - - -

But what do I know? Maybe they're going to anoint him as their next presidential candidate.

8. Dick Durbin handed him his ass earlier today on the Senate floor.

It seems that ole Ted forgot that he can be censured for slandering or making unfounded allegations against Senate colleagues from the floor. Durbin basically rebutted him with a I'm not saying the gentleman from Texas should be censured but he should be more careful about what he says in the future speech.

The funny part is that I'm increasingly getting the impression that more than a few of his GOP Senate colleagues would support that censure motion as he also taken to slandering them by implying he's the only real Republican and they're all collaborationist poseurs.

Midwesterners are conservative by nature, but not fools and idiots. And I'm pretty sure the Hispanics are not excited about him much as a voting block either. Just as they begin to be a real political force, up pops this narcissist.

I'm a fan of the Castro twins as the New Tejano Democrat. I think Wendy Davis will partner with them...saw their group photo on some magazine cover...as they represent the traditional Democratic Hispanic base.

Julian is currently making the folks of San Antonio very proud as their very popular mayor. I can see him as VP or even president someday.

And I will be volunteering to help Wendy.
